Multiple Central Jersey residents were baffled by a loud boom that shook their houses on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Ring app users reported hearing and feeling the massive explosion around noon. One person speculated some commotion at Naval Weapons Station Earle, in Colts Neck, and another said this is not the first time that the boom has occurred. A premium apartment complex promising affordable housing and resources in Manahawkin is close to welcoming its first residents, officials said. The first building of the Cornerstone at Grassy Hollow II is expected to open its first building in mid-September, the developer Walters said in a news release on Monday, June 3.
