Four Involved In Shooting Of Njsp Detective At Salem County Mobile Home Park Plead Guilty: AG
Four people recently admitted to their role in the 2020 shooting of a New Jersey State Police detective in Salem County, authorities said.
Markese Rogers, a 30-year-old Pittsgrove resident, Ashley Acevedo Diaz, 27, Shakeem Waters, 36 and Noel Lazu, 35, pled guilty this month for their involvement in an incident that led to NJSP Detective Richard Hershey being shot at the Harding Woods mobile home park in Pittsgrove, New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin said.

Pittsgrove's Frank Bittle II, Heavy Equipment Operator, 46
Frank Bittle II, of Pittsgrove, died on June 2, according to an obituary published by Adams Funeral Home. He was 46 years old.
A heavy equipment operator, like his father and grandfather, Frank was an extremely proud member of IUOE Local 825.
"He loved to talk and was a social butterfly," his obituary said. "No matter where he went, if he ran into someone he knew or didn't know for that matter he would strike up a conversation."
