Debris Spill Closes All Lanes On Route 46 In Morris County: Njdot A debris spill on Route 46 in Morris County on the morning of Tuesday, March 4, forced the closure of all lanes, authorities said. The debris spill occurred at Route 46 westbound west of NJ 10 circle in Roxbury Township, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. All lanes are closed and traffic has been diverted to the right shoulder, NJ DOT said.

At 9 p.m., firefighters responded to the 200 block of Center Street in Port Morris on a report of smoke coming from a basement, Roxbury Fire and First Aid Company 2 said.  Upon arrival, an electric scooter was found to be on fire in the basement, firefighters said. Tractor Trailer Hauling Used Clothes Overturns On Route 80: Njsp A tractor trailer hauling used clothes overturned on Route 80 in Morris County on Wednesday, June 19, injuring one person, authorities said. At 3:04 p.m., a tractor trailer lost directional control and overturned on Route 80 east in Roxbury Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, authorities said. No other injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

At 5:24 a.m., Roxbury police responded to a business on Route 46 for a commercial burglary alarm, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.
