Officials ID Driver Killed By NJ Transit Train In Morris County NJ Transit officials have released the name of the motorist killed by a train earlier this week in Morris County. Michael Carbone, 77, of Pompton Plains, was struck by Montclair-Boonton Line train 1074 after he disregarded the crossing gates at the Ryerson Road crossing in Lincoln Park around 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, a spokesperson for NJ Transit said.
