A routine early morning traffic stop in Bergen County over the weekend led to the recovery of a loaded handgun and an illegal high-capacity magazine, authorities said.
On Sunday, Feb. 15, at approximately 2:24 a.m., North Arlington police officers conducting radar enforcement on Belleville Turnpike observed a white 2016 Dodge Challenger traveling eastbound at 56 mph in a posted 30 mph zone, North Arlington Police Lt. A child who vanished from Georgia more than a year ago has been safely found in Connecticut after a traffic stop unraveled a disturbing case of custody interference, authorities said.
