A man was fatally shot by police in Jersey City on Friday, Sept. 5, authorities said. The shooting occurred at 1:23 p.m. on John F. Kennedy Blvd, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said. The man's identity and the identities of the officers involved have not been released. The shooting caused John F. A wrong-way driver caused a devastating head-on collision on Route 17 in Orange County, leaving two people dead and another seriously injured, New York State Police confirmed.
