Prosecutor IDs Man Killed In Bergen County House Fire Authorities have identified the victim of Sunday night, Jan. 5's fatal house fire in Glen Rock. Firefighters found 82-year-old Frederick Visser unconscious on the first floor of 15 Birchwood Road shortly after the 9:21 p.m. fire broke out, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. First responders began CPR at the scene before Visser was taken to The Valley Hospital. He was later pronounced dead, Musella said. The fire did not appear to be suspicious in nature, said Musella, who did not reveal a cause.
