A driver was shot at on Interstate 95 in during rush hour, Pennsylvania State Police reported on Wednesday, Feb. 12. The incident occurred in Philadelphia near Exit 26: Aramingo/Betsy Ross around 8:16 a.m. when a 43-year-old man from Folcroft was traveling in the left lane. A silver Dodge sedan with tinted windows and a damaged rear bumper pulled alongside him, and an occupant fired a shot through his passenger-side window. A 36-year-old man was arrested and charged on Wednesday, Feb. 5 in the fatal shooting of a 9-year-old boy on Friday, Jan. 31 in Newark, authorities said. Jesse Dunbar faces charges of first-degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, and multiple weapons charges, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II and Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said. Authorities are searching for the person responsible for the fatal shooting of a 9-year-old boy outside his home in Newark on Friday, Jan. 31. The boy was exiting a vehicle with his father and sister at approximately 5:27 p.m. when he was shot on Osborne Terrace, a spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said. 15-Year-Old Girl Killed In Double Jersey City Shooting: Prosecutor
A 15-year-old girl was killed and her 37-year-old female relative was wounded in a Jersey City shooting late Saturday, Jan. 18, authorities said. Cianna Lee and the other victim were found with gunshot wounds in a car on Oak Street near Martin Luther King Drive and Union Street around 11 p.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Two Men Shot In Newark: Police
Two men were shot in Newark on the early morning of Thursday, Jan. 16, authorities said. At 2:05 a.m., police responded to the 200 block of Washington Street on a call of a shooting, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said Two gunshot victims were located and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, authorities said. .Each is reportedly in stable condition, Miranda said. A 32-year-old Jersey City man pleaded guilty in Newark federal court on Monday, Dec. 9 to committing four robberies and two shootings, all in the same evening, authorities said.
