DNA Lab Leads To Man Arrested For Jersey City Rape, Home Invasion: Prosecutor
A 47-year-old man was arrested and charged on Thursday, Jan. 9 with sexually assaulting a woman during a home invasion, authorities said. At 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5, Jermaine Adams entered a residence on McAdoo Avenue through her window and then physically and sexually assaulted the woman inside, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The woman was hospitalized with multiple injuries, Suarez said. A 49-year-old Union City police sergeant was arrested and charged on Tuesday, Jan. 7 with filing a false report that led to a person being arrested last August, authorities said. A 64-year-old man was arrested and charged after he robbed a TD Bank in Union Township on Monday, Jan. 6, authorities said. Hoboken Police Officer Dies
The Hoboken Police Department is mourning the loss of one of its own. Officer Frank Francolino died at home while off-duty on Saturday, Dec. 28, the department said on X.
