On Wednesday, May 7, at 8:30 p.m., the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task force, along with members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and other law enforcement agencies conducted a search warrant at two residences in Elizabeth, located on Magnolia Avenue and Murray Street, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald said.

East Orange Man Busted For Secaucus Home Invasion: Police
A 21-year-old East Orange man was arrested and charged on Thursday, May 29 with committing a home invasion in Secaucus in February, authorities said.
On Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 2:51 a.m., officers responded to a report of a burglary at the 200 block of Grace Avenue, Secaucus police said. The homeowner told police she was sleeping, but called officers when she heard someone inside her home, police said.

A Newark man was arrested after Clifton police say they found a loaded ghost gun, high-capacity magazine, hollow point bullets, and weed packaged for sale during a traffic stop just after midnight.
The stop happened around 12:38 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, near Route 46 West and Route 21 South, according to Clifton Police Lt. Robert Anderson.

A 47-year-old man who tried to disarm police officers was found with 10 rounds of ammo, a ghost gun, and more during a domestic dispute at a Wildwood motel on Monday, Sept. 2, Labor Day, authorities said.
Police were called to the AA Heart of Wildwood Motel at 3915 Ocean Ave., around noon, where a man later identified as Rakesh Patel had tried to kick open the lobby door while fighting with his spouse, Wildwood police said.
