An 18-year-old Neshaminy High School senior has died after suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis, according to the Bucks County Health Department and the school district. Ryan Duffy became ill late last week and was admitted to a nearby hospital, where he was treated in the ICU, officials said on Tuesday, Oct. 15. A 9-year-old girl lost much of her right hand after being attacked by a shark on a Florida beach. The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon, June 11, off the coast of Boca Grande on Florida's Gulf Coast.
