A 36-year-old Jersey City resident was arrested and charged for a home invasion following a two-hour standoff on Saturday, July 26, authorities said. At 12:06 a.m., officers responded to a residence on Tuttle Avenue after a man, later identified as Georgy Charles, entered their home, Spring Lake police. Serial Jersey City Burglar Busted In Bayonne: Police
A 37-year-old Jersey City man was arrested and charged on Monday, Jan. 13 with committing multiple burglaries in Bayonne, authorities said. At 4:02 p.m., officers responded to Tiger's Deli at 1224 Kennedy Blvd. on a report of a burglary in process, Bayonne police said. Shortly thereafter, officers located Roshawn Simmons, who was wearing the exact clothing description and was confirmed as the burglar, police said. He was placed under arrest, police said. Burglar Arrested After Foot Pursuit In North Jersey Town, Police Say
A 29-year-old Rockaway resident was arrested for burglary following a foot pursuit in Fairfield on Tuesday, July 2, authorities said. At 9:35 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle burglary at a business on Daniel Road East, Fairfield police said in a release. Police noticed Matthew Logan, who matched the description of the suspect, in the parking lot of the PNC Bank on Little Falls Road, officers said.
