Zadie's Bakery Founder Dies Days After New Storefront Opens
Lawrence "Larry" Steinberg, the founder of the legendary Zadie's Kosher Bake Shop in Fair Lawn, died on Wednesday, April 29, days after the shop opened in a brand-new storefront. He was 74 years old.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 1, at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors in Hackensack, with a committal service to follow at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, NY.
