Cops Use GPS To Find Stolen Car, Four Teens Arrested: Summit PD
A GPS tracker helped police in Summit locate a stolen vehicle on Monday, Feb. 3, leading to the arrest of four teenagers, authorities said.
At 4:45 p.m., a 2022 Range Rover was reported stolen from a parking garage in downtown Summit, police said. Officers used the Range Rover's GPS system to monitor its movements, police said.
At 7 p.m., the vehicle was discovered at Pine Street in Elizabeth, occupied by five people, police said. As the officers approached, the five suspects exited the vehicle and ran, police said.

A bomb threat at Atlantic City Airport earlier this month led to a dramatic standoff and the arrest of a 38-year-old Egg Harbor Township man, authorities said.
The incident began on Jan. 10, at approximately 6:56 a.m., when New Jersey State Police responded to a bomb threat at the airport in Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic County, NJSP Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.
A thorough sweep of the terminal revealed no explosive devices. Investigators identified the suspect as Long Pham, who was charged with false public alarm and terroristic threats, both third-degree offenses, Lebron said.

Man Charged With Shooting North Bergen Resident In Head: Prosecutor
A 34-year-ol North Bergen resident was arrested and charged on Monday, Jan. 13, with shooting another man in the head last December, authorities said.
On Monday, Dec. 9 at 3:30 p.m., the North Bergen Police Department found Juan Moyet's lifeless body inside a second-floor residence at 9028 Palisade Plaza, Hudson County Prosecutor Ether Suarez said.
On Wednesday, Dec. 11, a post-mortem exam was conducted that determined the cause of death to be a gunshot wound to the head, Suarez said.
