Man Pushing Shopping Cart Struck By Two Vehicles, Killed In South Jersey Hit-And-Run: Police A Vineland man died when he was hit by a car and an SUV while crossing a street, authorities said. Michael Cimback Jr., 72, was killed in the hit-and-run crash on Thursday, Nov. 7, the Vineland Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the wreck near the intersection of West Landis and Coney avenues at around 5:25 p.m. Investigators said a dark green Honda sedan was heading west on West Landis Avenue when the car struck Cimback while he was pushing a shopping cart across the road. Eugene Cosby of Malaga, Will El-Bey of Vineland, and Clifton Bailey of Camden were convicted of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said in a news release. Driver, 30, Killed, Passenger Wounded In Vineland Shooting: Prosecutor A 30-year-old driver was killed and his passenger injured in a Vineland shooting over the weekend, authorities said. Mark Brown was found unresponsive in the driver's seat of the vehicle by police responding to reports of shots fired around 9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 at Southeast Boulevard between Sherman and Grant avenues, the prosecutor's office said.
