Man Dies By Suicide After Shooting Woman In Atlantic County Home, Authorities Say
A Pleasantville man shot a woman before he died by suicide, authorities said. Pleasantville police responded to a domestic violence report at a home on South Third Street at around 4:05 a.m. on Sunday, June 23, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. When officers arrived, they tried to make contact with the people inside but several shots were fired. A 26-year-old woman left the home with several gunshot wounds. Deadly Double-Shooting Investigated In Trenton
A deadly double-shooting is under investigation in Trenton, authorities said. Jonathan Applegate, of Trenton, was killed in the shooting on Tuesday, June 11, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. His age was not released. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the shooting. A 44-year-old man from Vineland has been sentenced to 45 years in New Jersey State Prison in connection with a double-fatal shooting, authorities said. Sheldon M.
