A sophisticated operation that stole credit card information and used cloned cards to purchase diesel fuel, and then resold it for millions in illicit profits has been dismantled, authorities announced on Thursday, Jan. 16. The scheme involved 25 people and four companies operating in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin said. A Willingboro man was accused of having more than 1,000 pictures and videos of child pornography, authorities said. Marcus Lee, 33, was charged with second-degree possession of child sexual abuse material, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw said in a news release on Friday, Dec. 20. A man shot and killed his ex-girlfriend in a murder-suicide in Vineland, authorities said. The 21-year-old woman identified as "M.R." and the 22-year-old man identified as "J.C.S." died in the shooting on Monday, Aug. 26, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said in a news release.
