On Tuesday, Aug. 13, a Gloucester Township resident observed their dogs with a skunk in their neighborhood.  The Animal Control Officer for Gloucester Township picked up the animal and it was submitted for rabies testing at the state Public Health & Environmental Laboratories in Trenton (PHEL). Troopers responded to a possible drowning of a child at a home on Bellavista Avenue at around 5:50 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11, a state police spokesperson said. The three-year-old had fallen into the pool before troopers arrived. The child was airlifted to a hospital for medical treatment. The toddler's condition wasn't known as of press time.
