A woman died when she was hit by a train in South Brunswick on Veterans Day, officials said. Man Fatally Struck By Train In Rahway: NJ Transit
A man was fatally struck by an NJ Transit train on the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 15 in Rahway, authorities said. The man was struck at 7:45 p.m. by Northeast Corridor train 3963, which had departed Penn Station New York at 7:12 p.m. and was set to arrive in Trenton at 8:36 p.m., NJ Transit said. There were no injuries to the 450 customers and crew on board, NJ Transit said.. Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coastline service was temporarily suspended resumed with up to 90-minute delays in both directions, NJ Transit said. New Jersey Transit Police are investigating.

A train operator was killed and multiple others hurt after a tree fell on an NJ Transit train Monday morning, Oct. 14 in Burlington County.
