A tractor-trailer fire on the New Jersey Turnpike was jamming traffic in South Brunswick, authorities said. The fire broke out at about 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2 on the outer roadway southbound north of Interchange 8A (Route 32) in SOuth Brunswick, according to NJDOT. All lanes of Route 287 were closed due to a crash late Thursday, June 27, the NJDOT site says. The NJDOT site said police were on scene of a crash investigation in the northbound lanes south of Route 202 as of 11 p.m. The crash itself happened just after 8:30 p.m., preliminary reports say. A pedestrian crash temporarily closed Route 1 in Central Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 27 northbound near Adams Lane in North Brunswick Township, according to the NJDOT and local police. There were no serious injuries, North Brunswick Police Capt. Brian A. Hoiberg said. "The scene was cleared in less than a half hour," Holberg said.

There was a crash and a traffic signal knocked down along Route 35 in Central Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26 northbound north of Route 650 (Chain-O-Hills Road) in Woodbridge Township, according to the NJDOT. Overturned Freightliner Shuts All Lanes Of Turnpike For Hours
An overturned tractor trailer closed all lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike's western spur in Kearny Wednesday, June 12. New Jersey State Police said the Freightliner collided with a Nissan passenger car, causing the truck to flip just after 5:10 p.m. on the northbound side on the Interchange 15W ramp in Kearny. As of 8:35 p.m., all lanes were closed, the NJDOT said. The crash remains under investigation and minor injuries were reported.

There was a crash with injuries involving an overturned dump truck on Interstate 195, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12 on I-195 westbound East of Exit 7 in Robbinsville, according to the NJDOT. A dump truck lost directional control, ran off the roadway to the right, struck a tree, and overturned, New Jersey State Police said. The driver of the dump truck was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, State Police said. The crash remains under investigation.

The two-car crash occurred at about 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 6 southbound near Adams Lane, according to the NJDOT. One of the drivers suffered minor injuries, North Brunswick police said. All lanes were closed for about 50 minutes, police said.
