A plane crashed and exploded near a retirement community in Lancaster County, injuring multiple people and triggering a massive emergency response on Sunday, March 9, officials said. A fiery inferno lit up the night sky over Preakness Hills Country Club on Monday, Dec. 29, as a maintenance building went up in flames, prompting a massive emergency response to prevent a potentially catastrophic disaster. 7,000-Gallon Tanker Truck Strikes Railroad Bridge In Central Jersey (

A 7,000-gallon tanker truck struck a railroad bridge in Woodbridge on Wednesday afternoon, July 10, authorities said. Woodbridge police could not immediately confirm the tanker's contents but said there were no major leaks and no injuries. The crash occurred at about 2 p.m. at Green Street and Rahway Avenue. An unconfirmed report said the tanker was carrying jet fuel. Hazmat crews and NJ Transit were at the scene of the crash, police said. 2 Hospitalized By Explosion At Industrial Gas Supply Company In NJ Town
Two people were injured after an explosion at an industrial gas company in Branchburg on the early morning of Wednesday, June 5, authorities said. At 4:30 a.m., first responders arrived at 197 Meister Ave. and found smoke visible from the Air Liquide building, Branchburg police said in a release.
