Hoboken-Bound Train Hits Sedan In Bergen County
A Nissan sedan was struck by a New Jersey Transit train Thursday morning, Sept. 19 in Ho-Ho-Kus. Train 1110 on the Main-Bergen County line was briefly delayed following the crash just before 10:15 a.m. at the Hollywood Avenue crossing, which left the sedan severely damaged, according to incident reporter Boyd A. A prominent New Jersey realtor was killed in a crash Thursday, Sept. 5, authorities said. Michael Kravchak, 47, of Egg Harbor City, died in the wreck on Thursday, Sept. 5, the Mansfield Township Police Department said in a news release. A man was hospitalized after he experienced a medical emergency while driving and crashed into a pole in Newark on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 8, authorities said.
