Tanker Hauling 7K Gallons Of Septic Waste Overturns In West Milford
A tanker truck hauling 7,000 gallons of septic waste overturned in a crash involving a car on Tuesday evening, April 8 in West Milford, officials said. The accident happened on Oak Ridge Road at Route 23, according to the West Milford Fire Marshal’s Office, which responded to the scene along with the West Milford Fire Department. The truck driver sustained minor injuries, officials said. Emergency crews worked to contain a small amount of septic waste, as well as oil and other vehicle fluids that spilled during the crash. A 42-year-old man drove his pickup truck into the Niagara Gorge on Wednesday evening, April 2, according to the New York State Park Police. Oh, and he survived. At 6:25 p.m., officers responded to a medical call outside the Aquarium of Niagara in Niagara Falls State Park. Boy Killed In Freak Accident Involving Backyard Pennsylvania Zipline, Cops Say
A 12-year-old boy was killed after a tree holding up a backyard zipline snapped and fell on him in Pennsylvania, authorities said. Emergency crews were called to a home on the 1400 block of Chadwyck Lane in East Hempfield Township around 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 30, for a medical emergency involving a child, according to East Hempfield Township police. Tree Falls On School Bus, 11 Taken To Hospital: Authorities
Eleven people, 10 kids and a driver were taken to a hospital after a tree fell on a school bus in Tewksbury on Friday, March 21, authorities said. At 7:08 a.m., officers responded to Fairmont Road East and Addison Drive after a large tree fell on the front of the school bus, police said. All 11 individuals on the bus were transported to Hunterdon Medical Center for evaluation, police said. Any injuries were minor, police said. Pedestrian Pinned By Car In Morris County Acme Parking Lot: Police
A pedestrian was hospitalized after being run over by a vehicle in the parking lot of a Morris County supermarket Sunday morning, Dec. 1, police said. The vehicle was pulling out of a spot in the Acme parking lot on E. Main Street in Denville, when they drove over the female pedestrian and came to a stop, with the pedestrian underneath the vehicle, Denville Police Capt. Scott Welsch said. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The incident is under investigation.
