Woman, 34, Dead, Young Man Seriously Injured In Central Jersey Crash: Prosecutor
Authorities are investigating a crash in Middlesex County that left a 34-year-old woman dead on Saturday night, Jan. 11.
The crash occurred at approximately 9:55 p.m. and involved at West Carteret Bridge on Roosevelt Avenue where an Infiniti and a Toyota Camry had collided, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Carteret Police Chief Theodore Nycz said.

Man Kills Woman 'In Presence Of Minors,' Middlesex County Prosecutor Says
A 41-year-old man was arrested and charged with murdering a woman in South Brunswick on Thursday, Jan. 9, authorities said.
At 3:15 p.m., South Brunswick police responded to a residence on Route 27 and found Lauren Saldana, 38, dead at the scene, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Raymond Hayducka of the South Brunswick Police Department said.
An investigation determined Roman Romanovskiy, also of South Brunswick, killed Saldana, authorities said. Saldana and Romanovskiy knew each other and "thus it was not a random act of violence," authorities said. …

Gusty Winds Leave 5,000 New Jersey Residents Without Power: Here's Where
More than 5,000 New Jersey residents are facing power outages as high wind gusts were being clocked in parts of the state on Thursday, Dec. 5.
As of press time, JCP&L was reporting 2,521 outages in Ocean County and 1,494 in Burlington County.
Monmouth County was also heavily affected, with 1,125 customers in the dark, while Mercer County reports 104 outages and Middlesex County just four.
