'Our Number One Jewel': Atlantic City Aquarium Reopening Delayed Again, Renovations Wrapping Up
Significant progress has been made in renovating the Atlantic City Aquarium but the long-delayed reopening has been pushed back once again, officials said. The North New Hampshire Avenue aquarium is now expected to reopen in December, Mayor Marty Small Sr. said at a news conference on Monday, Sept. 30. One borough in Bergen County is raking in all the dough. According to Stacker.com, Ho-Ho-Kus was named New Jersey's richest municipality with at least 1,000 people, citing the Census Bureau American Community Survey Five-Year Data. Ho-Ho-Kus has a median household income of $250,000, with workers earning a median of $109,922. The borough has an unemployment rate of 2% with 0% of families living below the poverty line. A South Jersey healthcare system was accused of discriminating against pregnant patients with a mandatory drug testing policy, authorities said. Attorney General Matthew Platkin has filed a lawsuit against Virtua Health, according to a news release on Thursday, Sept. 26.
