A gas explosion blew out the first-floor windows of a Perth Amboy restaurant and injured one person Thursday afternoon, Feb. 20, ABC7 reports. Fire crews arrived at the Hall Avenue scene around 3:40 p.m. to find an active gas leak and smoke coming from the building, prompting evacuations before Elizabethtown Gas secured the gas main and crews extinguished the flames, the outlet said.
