A 36-year-old New Jersey unlicensed flight instructor who was in two prior crashes has been indicted in a third — a 2022 incident that killed his student pilot in Pennsylvania, authorities announced. A Florida pilot's small plane crashed when it experienced engine trouble shortly after taking off from Atlantic City International Airport (ACY), authorities said. Galloway Township police responded to the report of a plane crash in a field near the 200 block of Liebig Street at around 3:42 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31. Small Plane Crashes In Field Near Atlantic City Airport
A single-engine Cirrus SR-22 crashed in a field northeast of Atlantic City International Airport, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. The pilot was alone on board, the FAA said. The condition of the pilot was not reported by the FAA. The FAA will investigate.
