A New Jersey mother and son admitted to a years-long scheme to scam the Department of Defense by selling cheap military equipment not approved by their business's contracts, authorities said.

The owner of three restaurants in Trenton has been arrested for multiple sexual assaults including a job applicant, authorities said.
Gerald Araya, 44, of Ewing, was arrested in Trenton on Wednesday, June 19, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri, Lawrence Township Police Chief Christopher Longo and Trenton Police Director Steve Wilson.

Mom Dies Days After Being Stabbed By Son In New Jersey
A 61-year-old woman from Ewing died Thursday, May 23, two days after being stabbed by her son, authorities said.
Maggie McNeil was found covered in blood after being stabbed by her son Theodore N. McNeil, 36, of Trenton, on Tuesday, May 21, around 5:10 p.m., at a home on Pennington Road, Ewing police said at the time.
According to the Trentonian, Maggie had been trying all day to get help for her son, who is schizophrenic.
