A lottery ticket worth more than $650,000 was purchased at a Monmouth County bar, officials said. The winner was sold at Airport Bar & Liquors on Route 36 in Hazlet, the New Jersey Lottery said in a news release on Wednesday, Oct. 30. An elderly man was found at an Atlantic County golf course overnight after he went missing for several hours in severe weather, authorities said. In a news release, Egg Harbor Township police said 85-year-old Mu Lee was reunited with his family at around 12:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17. An Atlantic County corrections officer was among three people accused of a scheme to smuggle contraband into the county's jail, authorities said. In a news release, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said 33-year-old Christopher Piccioni of Swedesboro was charged on Monday, May 20.
