Popular Newark Man Killed By Hit-Run Driver: Prosecutor Police have made an arrest in a hit-and-run crash that killed a popular Newark man. Ahmed Bouda, 29 has been charged after authorities said he struck and killed Corey Claybrook around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 14 on the 600 block of Springfield Avenue then fled the scene, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frage said. Claybrook died approximately one hour later.
