The 12-year-old died on Monday, Oct. 14, the Lawrence Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the 100 block of Eldridge Avenue at around 12:09 p.m. Police freed the boy from under the tree and began CPR. Lawrence paramedics rushed him to Capital Health System Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
