A 36-year-old woman from East Windsor has been charged with aggravated assault after grabbing the steering wheel of a car during an argument with the driver, authorities said. Their Honda Civic crashed into a tree resulting in a child's serious injury, East Windsor police said. Madelin A. 4-Car Crash Snarls Traffic On Garden State Parkway
There was a four-car collision during rush hour on Tuesday, July 23 on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 8:20 a.m. southbound at milepost 131.4 in Woodbridge, according to New Jersey State Police. One driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital, State Police said. The crash remains under investigation and there is no additional information available.

A 66-year-old driver struck and seriously injured a 14-year-old bicyclist in a Mercer County town over the weekend, police said. The East Windsor driver was operating a 2013 Toyota Tacoma when he struck the bicyclist, who was crossing Twin Rivers Drive north around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13, EWPD Lt. Thomas Meyer said. Firefighter Injured In Rutgers Barn Blaze
A firefighter was injured battling a fire in a storage barn at Rutgers University in North Brunswick, authorities said. The fire broke out at about 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 11 at the Horticultural Farm property at Rutgers Gardens, according to a university spokeswoman. The building was unoccupied at the time, she said. The fire was contained to the barn with assistance from local fire departments. Car Rolls Over Man Trying To Prevent GF From Leaving In South Brunswick, Cops Say
A 46-year-old man from South Brunswick was hospitalized after a car rolled over him as he sat in front of it in an attempt to prevent his girlfriend from leaving, police said. The man and his 37-year-old girlfriend were arguing outside of a Harvey Road home around 7:30 a.m. Monday, July 8, when the man sat in front of the vehicle, according to police. The woman got out of the car to tell him to move but had left the car in drive, police said. That's when the car rolled over the man, leaving him seriously injured. He ws rushed to RWJUH. A Galloway Township man was indicted after he was accused of stabbing a police officer and injuring another one, authorities said. A grand jury indicted 30-year-old Keith Kiminsky for attempted murder on Wednesday, June 26, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release.
