South Jersey Musician 'Adored By All' Seriously Injured By Car, Fundraiser Says
A beloved musician throughout South Jersey and the greater Philadelphia area was badly injured when he was struck by a car, according to a fundraising campaign.
A GoFundMe page said Mark Yurkanin was rushed to Cooper University Hospital with serious injuries when he was hit on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Yurkanian lives in Collingswood, according to his Facebook profile.
The GoFundMe had raised more than $26,000 from at least 398 donations as of Friday, Dec. 20.

Six members of a multi-million-dollar catalytic converter theft ring that spanned the Delaware Valley have been sentenced, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announced on Monday, Dec. 16.
The defendants included Michael Williams, the 53-year-old owner of TDI Towing in Philadelphia, his three sons-in-law Michael Bruce, Kevin Schwartz, and Patrick Hopkins, his wife Deborah Davalos, and her sister Lisa Davalos.

17-Year-Old South Jersey Girl Missing For Almost A Month, Police Ask For Help Finding Her
Gloucester Township police are looking for a teen girl who has been missing for nearly a month, authorities said.
Damoni Mason, 17, was reported missing in Sicklerville on Thursday, Nov. 7, the Gloucester Township Police Department said in a news release on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Mason was described as 5-foot-7, about 150 pounds with brown eyes and blonde braided hair. Police haven't been able to confirm what she was wearing at the time she disappeared.

Nearly 20 people have been arrested in a major crackdown on drugs and illegal guns in Atlantic City, authorities said.
The Atlantic City Police Department announced the 19 arrests in a news release on Wednesday, Nov. 27. A weeks-long operation targeted drug activity and "quality-of-life issues" in the neighborhoods surrounding Florida, Bellevue, and Texas avenues.
