'Armed And Dangerous' Teen Wanted In South Jersey Man's Killing, Police Say
Police were searching for a teen believed to be "armed and dangerous" after a Bridgeton man was killed, authorities said. Kevon Williams, 24, died in the shooting on Sunday, Nov. 24, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the scene on the 100 block of Cottage Avenue at approximately 11:18 a.m. Police found Williams suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. South Jersey Teen Driving Stolen Car Found With Fake Gun, Police Say
A Millville teen was accused of carjacking someone and driving the vehicle in Bridgeton, authorities said. Juan Vasquez Jr., 19, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 14, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release. Officers stopped Vasquez while he was driving at around 11:06 a.m. Investigators said he was in a vehicle stolen during a carjacking in Millville. Vasquez was charged with carjacking, unlawful possession of a weapon, and unlawful possession of an imitation firearm. The teen was held in the Cumberland County Jail.

Man Found With Stab Wounds Dies In Downtown Bridgeton, Police Say
A Bridgeton man was found dead from a stabbing early in the morning, authorities said. Wilbert Pace, 59, died on Friday, Oct. 11, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to East Commerce Street between Laurel Street and Mayor Aitken Drive at around 3:30 a.m. Police found Pace suffering from several stab wounds behind a downtown building. Two Men Threw Bottles, Pulled Knife On Three People Along South Jersey Riverfront: Police
Two Cumberland County men were accused of assaulting three people on the Bridgeton riverfront, authorities said. Geovanni Justice of Bridgeton and Christopher Perez of Vineland were arrested, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release on Monday, Sept. 30. Officers responded to a report of an active fight on the riverfront at around 2:17 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28. Investigators said Justice and Perez threw rocks and bottoms at the three victims. A Millville woman was accused of hopping a fence at a Bridgeton zoo and trying to pet a Bengal tiger, authorities said. Zyair Dennis, 24, was charged with one count of defiant trespassing, the Bridgeton Police Department said in a news release on Monday, Aug. 26. She was also cited for two violations of city ordinances about people climbing fences at Cohanzick Zoo. A 29-year-old man from Bridgeton has been arrested for fatally stabbing another man with a broken bottle, authorities said. Regino Hernandez-Morales was taken into custody Monday afternoon July 29 after detectives from the Bridgeton Police Department and Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office executed a search warrant at his home.
