Texas Fugitive Arrested In Secaucus: Police A man wanted for arson in Texas was arrested in Secaucus on the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 30, authorities said.  At 8:23 a.m., officers observed a man, later identified as Tito Correa, causing a safety hazard as he walked between multiple cars outside of a crosswalk at Meadowlands Parkway and Wood Avenue, while other vehicles were traveling in both directions, Secaucus police said.  A warrant check revealed Correa was wanted on the charge of arson by the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office in Texas. Man Tries Ramming Secaucus Gas Attendant With U-Haul, Splashes Police With Urine: Cops A 27-year-old Bergen County man is facing charges for trying to ram a Route 3 gas attendant with a vehicle and then assaulting a police officer, authorities said. Nelson Castellon, of Ridgefield Park, was in a U-Haul van when he tried to hit the attendant at the Exxon station at 445 Route 3 West around 12:40 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. Person Stabbed In Kearny, Suspect Apprehended: Police A 49-year-old Kearny man was arrested and charged after a stabbing on Friday, Oct. 18 left a man with life-threatening injurie, authorities said. Officers apprehended William Krebs following the stabbing on Quincy Avenue near Maple Street, Kearny police said. Despite the life-threatening injuries, the victim is expected to survive, police said. Krebs was charged with attempted murder and weapons offenses, police said. He is currently in the Hudson County Jail, police said.

Man Sexually Assaulted Co-Worker: Secaucus PD A 48-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested and charged on Wednesday, July 24 with sexually assaulting a co-worker in Secaucus in May, authorities said. On Friday, May 3, Christopher White sexually assaulted his co-worker in the back of their truck at a business location on Enterprise Avenue, Secaucus police said. Following an investigation, White was taken into custody in Kearny and charged with sexual assault, authorities said. He was transported to the Hudson County Jail, police said.

Two Men Impersonated Cops In Gunpoint Robbery At Hudson County Hotel, Police Say Two Newark residents were recently arrested and charged with robbing people at gunpoint at the Meadowlands Plaza Hotel in Secaucus in February, authorities said. At 4:22 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, Christopher Herrera, 30 and Rikelvin DeLeon Diaz, 33, forced their way into the victims hotel room while claiming to be police officers, Secaucus police said. But they weren't real cops, they were fake cops. One of the men pulled out a handgun and threatened to pistol whip one of the victims before both men fled from the scene.
