Markese Rogers, a 30-year-old Pittsgrove resident, Ashley Acevedo Diaz, 27, Shakeem Waters, 36 and Noel Lazu, 35, pled guilty this month for their involvement in an incident that led to NJSP Detective Richard Hershey being shot at the Harding Woods mobile home park in Pittsgrove, New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin said.

A Columbus, Ohio, man was convicted of killing another man at a Millville apartment complex, authorities said.
A jury found 33-year-old Darryl Wallace guilty on Tuesday, Oct. 8 of first-degree murder, second-degree possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, and second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said in a news release. A jury has convicted a Burlington man for the 2021 fatal shooting of a man in Camden, authorities said.
Lesure Funari, 25, of Burlington City, was found guilty on Thursday, June 6, of first-degree murder in the death of 29-year-old Takwail Bailey of Camden.
