A Sicklerville man is wanted by police after an arrest warrant was issued for a hit and run pedestrian crash in Gloucester County last May, authorities said. At 2:30 a.m., a Hyundai Sonata struck a pedestrian on Hurffville Crosskeys Road near Chestnut Ridge Middle School in Washington Township, police. A woman died when she was hit by a vehicle while walking near a busy Hazlet intersection, authorities said. The woman died near the intersection of Route 36 and Union Avenue, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Hazlet police responded to the pedestrian crash scene at around 7:49 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8. Investigators said a man driving south in the right lane of Route 36 struck the woman as he approached the intersection. Pedestrian Killed In Route 40 Hit-And-Run In South Jersey, Troopers Say
A Vineland man was killed in an early morning hit-and-run crash in Pittsgrove Township, authorities said. Allen Miller Jr., 45, died in the pedestrian crash on Route 40, a state police spokesperson said on Monday, Sept 30. Troopers responded to the wreck near milepost 20.5 at around 2:56 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28. Investigators said an unknown vehicle was heading east on Route 40 when it struck Miller and left the area. Miller was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remained under investigation.

Man Drove Drunk In Crash That Killed South Jersey Pedestrian, Police Say
A Pittsgrove Township man was accused of driving while drunk and killing a Millville man crossing a street, authorities said. Robert Johnson of Norma was charged with death by auto and driving while intoxicated, the Millville Police Department said in a news release. Johnson, 61, was arrested in the crash that killed 44-year-old Shane McManamy on Wednesday, Sept. 4. Man Indicted For Driving Drunk, Killing Atlantic City Pedestrian, Prosecutors Say
A Pleasantville man was accused of driving drunk in a crash that killed an Atlantic City man, authorities said. A grand jury indicted Maykol Mendozarizo, 38, for second-degree vehicular homicide on Tuesday, July 16. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced the indictment in a news release on Friday, July 19.
