Ben & Jerry’s Reopens in Hoboken After Brief Closure Ice cream lovers in Hoboken can breathe a sigh of relief. The Ben & Jerry's at 405 Washington St. reopened on Wednesday, Jan. 22 following a brief closure for renovations that left those with a sweet tooth (even in the bitter cold) filled with anxiety when they walked by and saw the store closed and papered over. "We're excited to be back up and running, ready to serve our delicious treats to the community once again," Kath Olayres, a spokesperson for Ben & Jerry's said.

Man Dressed As Deadpool Remains At Large After Hoboken Halloween Assault: Police Four people, including a man dressed as Deadpool, remain at large after an assault in Hoboken on Halloween, authorities said. On Thursday, Oct. 31 at 9 p.m., a woman reported she was walking northbound on the 50 block of Washington Street when a man dressed as Deadpool, wearing all red,  ran directly into her and struck her, possibly intentionally, Hoboken police said. The woman was knocked down causing injuries to her mouth and knee. "Deadpool" and three other individuals continued to run from the scene, police said. The faux Deadpool faces charges of aggravated assault, police said.…
