Long Island Man, 23, Dies When Car Crashes Into 18-Wheeler On NJ Turnpike: Troopers A Long Island man was killed when his car crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. Motorcyclist, 19, Killed In Crash With Pickup Truck In Linden A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash Thursday night, Oct. 3 in Linden, police said. The Brooklyn, NY man was heading south on a 2022 BMW motorcycle when he struck a 2012 Ford F150 as it was making the turnaround to travel north at the Phillips 66 Domestic Trades entrance around 11:30 p.m., local police said. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on scene. No additional injuries were reported. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Linden Police Traffic Bureau at (908) 474-8505.

22-Year-Old Newark Woman Killed In Route 280 Crash In Harrison A 22-year-old Newark driver was killed in a crash on Route 280 in Harrison early Saturday morning, July 27, New Jersey State Police said. According to NJSP Sgt. Charles Marchan, Kaylee Mendez was heading east when she ran off the road to the right and struck a guardrail around 1:25 a.m. She was ejected from the vehicle and killed. The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.

Motorcyclist, 28, Killed In Route 287 Crash A 28-year-old motorcyclist from Whitehouse Station was killed in a crash on Route 287 in Bridgewater on Thursday, June 27, authorities said. At 7:36 p.m., a Yamaha motorcycle driven by Mazen Alnaser was traveling north on Route 287 when it exited the roadway to the left and struck a guardrail, ejecting him, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.  Alnaser's motorcycle then continued north and struck the back of a Madza, Marchan said. Alnaser was pronounced dead at the scene, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.
