NJ Hockey Player, 19, Dies In Fiery Route 80 Crash
A 19-year-old hockey player from Bergen County was killed after his car caught fire on Route 80 in Warren County on the evening of Sunday, Dec. 1, authorities said. At 8:21 p.m., a Hyundai SUV driven by Carmine Argenziano was traveling westbound on Route 80 in Hope Township when it veered off the right side of the roadway, hit multiple trees and then caught fire, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Route 80 Road Rage Shooting: Witnesses Sought In Thanksgiving Eve Incident
New Jersey State Police are investigating a road rage shooting on Route 80 this week. The incident occurred on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024, around 6:18 a.m., when the driver of a silver minivan with a Pennsylvania license plate pulled alongside a blue Subaru Outback and fired at least one shot, striking the rear driver’s side window, authorities said. It happened near Exit 47B in Parsippany. Monday, Nov. 4 was going to be a big day for Cameron Ray. It would have been the 19-year-old MSU sophomore's first day of work at Das' Creamery's new location, Das' Creamery MooTown Morris Marketplace, on East Hanover Avenue in Morristown. Ray, of Flanders, joined Das' staff in April 2021, and has brought light and life to the ice cream shop ever since, the shop's owners tell Daily Voice. 2 Motorcyclists Hospitalized With Serious Injuries In Route 80 Crash
A pair of motorcyclists were hospitalized with serious injuries when one struck the other on Route 80 in Warren County on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Kawasaki and Aprilia motorcycle were traveling east on Route 80 when the 33-year-old Aprilla operator struck the rear of the Kawasaki around 6 p.m. at milepost 12.6 in Hope Township, New Jersey State Polie Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Both operators were thrown from their bikes and taken to the hospital, one by medevac and the other by ground, with serious injuries. A 59-year-old pedestrian was struck on Route 80, New Jersey State Police said, although the circumstances weren't immediately clear. The victim was struck on the eastbound highway near Madison Avenue in Paterson shortly before 10:30 p.m. Sunday, June 16, NJ State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: A driver and passenger in a box truck were killed and two occupants of a tractor-trailer hospitalized with severe injuries in a fiery multi-vehicle crash on Route 80 in Hackensack, New Jersey State Police confirmed.
