Ex-NJ Child Services Case Worker Sexually Assaulted Two Children, AG Says
A 58-year-old former New Jersey Department of Children and Family Services Division of Child Protection and Permanency case worker has been indicted for sexually abusing two children, authorities said.
Trent L. Collier, formerly of Newark and currently of Savannah, GA, has been charged in a seven-count indictment with sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual contact, attempted aggravated sexual assault, and official misconduct, based on Collier’s alleged sexually abusive conduct toward the two minor victims, Attorney General Matthew J. Three 13-Year-Olds Arrested After Making Threats Against Schools In Newark: Police
Three 13-year-olds, two boys and a girl were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 26 after making threats against schools in Newark, authorities said.
The threats were intercepted by police, leading to their arrest, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said.
The three teenagers each face charges of terroristic threats, cyber harassment, creating a false public alarm, and harassment, Fragé said.
Police are actively seeking a fourth juvenile male in connection with this incident, Fragé said.

A person was robbed at gunpoint in Newark on the evening of Monday, Sept. 16, authorities said.
At 10:15 p.m., a woman exited her vehicle after parking on the 800 block of South 16th Street and was approached by a dark-colored, 4-door Honda HR-V sedan with a sunroof and dull metallic rims, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said.
