Duo Attempts Three Burglaries: Fairfield PD Two people attempted three home burglaries in Fairfield on the early morning of Saturday, May 25, authorities said. Between 4 a.m. and 4:20 a.m. the burglaries attempted to break into homes on Stag Trial, Henning Drive and Kevin Terrace, Fairfield police said in a release. In all three instances, screens were removed from first floor windows in an attempt to gain access into the homes, police said.  All three were unsuccessful thanks to the windows being locked, police said. Two Cars Taken After Montclair Home Break-In: Police Two vehicles were stolen after burglars ransacked a home in Montclair on Thursday, May 16 police. Officers responded to a home on Woodmont Road on a report of a suspicious vehicle and found a silver Range Rover parked in the middle of the road, running and unoccupied, Montclair police said. Police determined the Range Rover had been stolen from Clifton and began searching the neighborhood, finding a home with its windows pried open, officers said.
