Car Strikes Utility Pole In Central Jersey, Knocking Out Power In Rollover Crash: Firefighters Power was knocked out for some residents in a Marlboro Township neighborhood after a rollover crash during the morning commute, officials said. Firefighters responded to the wreck near the intersection of Tennent Road and Wooleytown Road at around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, the Morganville Fire Department said in a Facebook post. When crews arrived, they found a car on its roof with airbags deployed. A utility pole was broken and wires were lying in the road. Jersey Shore Road Reopens 12+ Hours After Tractor-Trailer Crashes Into Utility Pole A tractor-trailer crashed into a utility pole in Monmouth County, shutting down a road for more than 12 hours, officials said. Crews responded to the crash on Broadway between Locust Avenue and Route 36 on Thursday, June 6, the West Long Branch Office of Emergency Management posted on Facebook at 4:09 p.m.  No injuries were reported in the wreck. Police set up detours and firefighters responded to help at the scene.  Jersey Central Power & Light crews worked to repair the utility pole after "a few homes" lost power.
