At 11:34 a.m., John DeLuca was driving a Buick SUV southbound on the Garden State Parkway when it ran off the road and struck multiple trees, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
As a result of the crash, DeLuca sustained fatal injuries, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.
