A multimillion-dollar project to cap 16 acres of the Egg Harbor Township landfill is moving forward, aiming to reduce odors and address concerns raised by Atlantic County residents, officials said. The Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) will permanently cap 16 acres of the landfill, the agency said in a news release on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Significant progress has been made in renovating the Atlantic City Aquarium but the long-delayed reopening has been pushed back once again, officials said. Long-Delayed Reopening Of Atlantic City Aquarium Pushed Back Again
After four years of delays, visitors will have to wait a few more months to return to the Atlantic City Aquarium. The North New Hampshire Avenue aquarium will reopen in September, the city said.
