Bear Spotted Along Route 1 In Central Jersey A bear was spotted along Route 1 in North Brunswick on Friday morning May 31, authorities said.  It was spotted near Cozzens Lane, North Brunswick police said in social media post before 10 a.m. "Please stay indoors if possible until the animal is secured," the post said.
