A 38-year-old Washington, DC man was arrested and charged with threatening flight attendants on a flight to Newark Liberty International Airport last summer, authorities said. Morris County Man Gets 7 Years For Possessing Images Of Children Being Abused: Feds
A 53-year-old Morris County man was sentenced on Monday, Sept. 16, to seven years in prison for possessing and distributing child pornography, authorities said. For three weeks in 2021-2022, Anselmo Girimonte, a Wharton resident, distributed material containing images and video files of child sexual abuse, via a publicly available online peer-to-peer file-sharing program, US Attorney Philip Sellinger said. Flanders Mailman Found Guilty Of Taking Bribes To Transport Drugs: Feds
A 49-year-old former mailman and Union resident was convicted in federal court on Thursday, Aug. 15 of taking bribes to deliver drugs through the mail, authorities said. For five years, from 2015 to 2010, Emerson Pavilus received cash payments in exchange for helping individuals intercept packages containing illegal narcotics and other illicit materials while working as a mailman in Flanders, U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said. Former NJ Child Services Caseworker Admits Collecting Kid Porn
𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: A 57-year-old former caseworker for the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency admitted collecting images of victims as young as toddlers being sexually abused, federal authorities said. Authorities found images on his cellphone after Trent Collier, 57, of Kearny, arrived at Newark Airport on a flight from the Dominican Republic, U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said.
