At 12:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, Kearny police responded to a crash near the Newark-Jersey City Turnpike and Fish Hound Road, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Two Killed In Kearny Fire: Prosecutor Two people were killed in an early morning fire in Kearny on Friday, Dec. 6, authorities said. Around midnight, the Kearny Fire Department responded to a fire at 56 Hamilton Ave. and encountered heavy fire coming from a single residence, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Two people, Martin Wilson, 61, and Mary Beth Guenther, 58, were located within the structure with serious injuries, Suarez said.
