A 25-year-old Passaic resident has been hit with additional charges in a car crash earlier this month in Weehawken that seriously injured three people.
Luis Tubac-Socoy faces charges of aggravated assault, endangering an injured victim and assault by automobile, among others following the Friday, July 5 crash, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.

A man was robbed at gunpoint of $1,600 and assaulted in Newark on the early morning of Saturday, June 6, authorities said.
At 2 a.m., police responded to the 40 block of Napoleon Street and found a man suffering from lacerations to his face after he was assaulted and robbed by two to three suspects, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said.

A 42-year-old Bloomfield man was arrested and charged with firing gunshots at another vehicle during a road rage incident in Montclair on Monday, June 17, authorities said.
Nelson Santos, who was driving a white Tesla, unsuccessfully tried to overtake the victims in their vehicle, and then continued following them until they pulled over at New Street and Washington Street just before 10 p.m., Montclair police said in a release.
