CPR Performed On Critically Injured Woman In Three-Alarm Jersey City Fire: Authorities A woman is in a critical condition following a three-alarm fire in Jersey City on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 24, authorities said. At 7 a.m., firefighters responded to 81 Wade Street. and found a heavy fire in the back of a two-story residential building spreading from the first floor to the attic and roof area, Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office said. Rochelle Park House Fire Quickly Knocked Firefighters made quick work of a Rochelle Park house blaze. The fire broke out on the second floor of Parkway home off Rochelle Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. Sunday, June 16. Firefighters contained it there, knocking down the main body barely 20 minutes before they began. Update: Dogs Die In New Milford House Fire Two dogs were killed in a New Milford house fire early Tuesday night, authorities said. The residents weren't home when the blaze broke out in the kitchen at the back of the Voorhis Avenue home and quickly spread shortly after 7 p.m., New Milford Police Chief Brian Clancy said.
